A. Leigh Construction is a leading Henrico Bathroom Remodeling Contractor. We are featuring this bathroom remodel that was built for one of your Henrico neighbors. The original bathroom was cramped so this homeowner decided to expand the lavatory into the old closet and turn an unused living room into an incredible walk in master closet. The above photo shows a beautiful green, granite vanity top and vessel sink. The flooring is a weathered, wood look, plank tile.
In the photo above, you can see the new layout of the lavatory. Originally, the latrine was located on the wall under the window. Since the master closet was being moved into the existing living room, this was a great opportunity to create more space around the tub. The latrine is now located on the wall opposite of the tub giving the homeowner more room to move around. The tub surround was re-tiled with a gray marble look, subway tile. The homeowner chose oil rubbed bronze fixtures and Revere Pewter for the paint color.
The above photo gives you a better idea about how the new master on-suite flows. The entry from the master bedroom into the vanity area was widened and you can see the new entry into the huge master closet. The original doorway from the foyer into the living room was on the left wall adjacent to the window (below). It has been closed off to create a walk in closet. The shelving and closet rods were installed by Closet Factory. There is hardwood flooring under the carpet. The homeowner plans to remove the carpet and have all of the hardwood flooring refinished.
